In 2012 Cressida was invited to direct the New York Theatre Row transfer of Theatre Uncut’s short plays from Row from the Young Vic in London. The pieces were Winner of the Fringe First, Herald Angel, and Spirit of the Fringe Awards at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival and shortlisted for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award.


Cressida directed three of the five plays: Lena Kitsopoulou’s The Price from Greece, Marco Canale’s The Birth of My Violence from Spain, and Pine by Clara Brennan from the UK. These plays covered the Eurozone crisis, domestic effects of austerity, occupy movement and the state of global capitalism.
